Introducing Our 2023 Scholarship Winners

With a long history of serving and supporting educational organizations, Freedom is committed to the value of education and to helping make post-secondary schooling possible for Members of the Credit Union. Each year, the Credit Union awards $2000 scholarships to three local students to support their educational endeavors.

In April and May, we accepted applications along with transcripts and essays from several students. Applicants were asked to write an essay based on a founding principal of Freedom Credit Union – “People Helping People”.  Freedom received many outstanding applications this year and is pleased to recognize the 2023 recipients:

Faith Hauger from Philadelphia, PA will be attending West Chester University and will major in Business.

Fareeha Alam from Philadelphia, PA will be attending the University of Pennsylvania and will major in Psychology. 

Owen R. Brown from Cherry Hill, NJ will be attending Camden County Community College and will be majoring in Audio Production.
